Most Star Wars fans are familiar with the famous A New Hope blooper where a random, nameless Stormtrooper doinked their head on a Death Star bulkhead. A true classic.
The identity of the clumsy Imperial soldier has been a mystery for as long as the movie has existed. And now, a new Jamie Stangroom documentary titled The Empire Strikes Door (omg), is poised to solve it.
This whole thing looks like a hoot, from the “Every generation has an idiot” tagline to the lineup of legitimate Star Wars celebrities who apparently lent their time to getting this thing made. I can’t wait to watch. It’ll be out Sept. 25 on Stangroom’s YouTube page. Read more…

The internet can be extremely stressful at times, but it can also offer 25 seconds of pure, wholesome bliss that you can watch on a loop. Take this video of a dog pretending to be a baby, for example.
The precious “Staffordshire bull terrier pit bull cross” seen above is named Louis. According to the video description, his owner explained how he joined the family when he was just six weeks old and had just been taken off of his mother’s milk.
“He would suckle in his sleep a lot so I decided to give him a binkie to see if it would soothe him a little, he took it right out of my hand and started suckling it like a little baby and wouldn’t give it back,” the description reads. Read more…

The truth is, Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” is the anthem we needed in 2019.
The song was released in 2017, but it recently surged in popularity, topping the charts, bringing us laughter and joy in the form of DNA test memes, and even gaining the attention of people like Hillary Clinton.
With a catchy beat, empowering lyrics that touch on self-love and question men’s actions, and, of course, Lizzo’s stunning voice, “Truth Hurts” is a straight up jam, one that not even members of Congress can turn down.
On Friday, during Congressional Black Caucus week, Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Ayanna Pressley busted a move to the song and shared footage of their delightful dancing on Twitter. Read more…
