Instant noodles, ramen, whatever you call ’em — it’s always been there for us in our hour of laziness or when we’re short on cash.
But what if you could use it as a coating for fried chicken? Thanks to the brainiacs at Guilty, a restaurant in Sydney, Australia, you can live that flavour-heavy fantasy.
Think fried chicken sandwich, where the chicken has been coated with Mi Goreng noodles and deep-fried, topped with kecap manis (an Indonesian sweet soy sauce) mayo, pickled carrot and wombok, fried shallots and chilli sauce.
