Zappos offers to cover the funeral costs of Las Vegas shooting victims

Zappos is stepping up to help victims of a hometown tragedy.

The Las Vegas-based online shoe retailer said it would pay the funeral costs of any of the victims of the Mandalay Bay mass shooting, the Las Vegas Sun first reported. All families have to do is ask.

The company, which is a subsidiary of Amazon, previously said it would match $1 million in crowdsourced donations to support everyone affected after Stephen Paddock opened fire on a country music festival crowd, killing 58 people in the deadliest shooting in American history. Read more…
