Gang steals 20 tonnes of Nutella and other chocolate goodies

If someone offers you a large batch of Nutella and Kinder Surprise Eggs, don’t trust them. Report it to police immediately. 

Police in Germany have reported the theft of 20 tonnes of chocolate goods, valued at more than 50,000 euros (£45,400; $59,000), in a lorry trailer. 

To give you a rough idea, 20 tonnes of Nutella = 1,000 of these: 

“Anyone offered large quantities of chocolate via unconventional channels should report it to the police immediately,” Neustadt police said in a statement.  Read more…
