Spending some money on upping your solo sesh game or adding a little spice with a partner is well worth the investment. Though we do believe in springing for well-made toys since you’ll be putting them in, on, and around your genitals, that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to drop a ton of cash. Every week, we’ll be rounding up the best deals directly from manufacturers and online sex shops alike, so you can find a toy you’ll love, at prices you’ll love (almost) as much. Check out our finds from this week below.

Everyone has their preferences when it comes to dildos (or any sex toys, for that matter), but here’s why this one is worth a second look. The silicone material gives the dildo some flex, so you can find those just-right angles (which can feel even better thanks to its approachable size). The circular base doubles as a suction cup, too, making this dildo easy to hold, fit into a harness, or stick onto the non-porous surface of your choosing.

TikTok might let you reset your For You page

Three people dancing and singing with TikTok logos surrounding them.

TikTok is toying with a new feature that will let you reset your For You page if it starts getting dull.

When you make an account on TikTok for the very first time, your For You page isn’t really For You because it doesn’t know you yet. So, the algorithm serves you a wide variety of content, from dancing to crocheting to comedy, tracks what you seem to be most interested in watching, and starts creating a For You page that is For You.

SEE ALSO:

How to curate your Instagram Reels to show you content you actually like

But sometimes, that For You page can get stale. It can be boring to be served videos that the algorithm is serving up to you, or, worse, damaging. For instance, if the algorithm noticed you stay and watch frog videos, it might serve you exclusively amphibian-related TikTok videos — and you might eventually get bored of them. Or, let’s say, your nephew scrolls on your TikTok for a while — all of a sudden, you’re flooded with cartoon videos and have to find your way out.

That’s why TikTok is testing a new feature called Refresh, which will reset your For You page, The Verge first reported. A TikTok spokesperson told Mashable that the feature will roll out to a small number of users in the next few days.

“We’re always working on ways to empower our community to shape their TikTok experience and will be testing a feature that enables people to refresh their For You feed if content no longer feels relevant or entertaining,” a TikTok spokesperson said in a statement to Mashable.

Refresh could be a way to make the social media platform a healthier and happier place — but it could also be a way to keep us logged on for longer.

The Beats Studio Buds received pretty high praise from Mashable reporter Alex Perry, who says they “put Apple’s entry-level AirPods to shame.” In addition to offering eight hours of listening time on a single charge, they come with the same H1 chip that the AirPods Pro feature. This makes them super simple to connect to your Apple devices, but they work great with Android phones, too. Add some serious sweat-resistant features, and you can use them for your daily workouts without ever worrying about ruining them.

‘The Last of Us’ episode 4: Who is Henry?

Kathleen from

The question on everybody’s lips after episode 4 of The Last of Us is, “Who is Henry?”

We certainly hear the name a lot from Kansas City’s revolutionary leader Kathleen (Melanie Lynskey), who has made hunting him down a priority. However, we don’t actually meet Henry (Lamar Johnson) until the very last moments of the episode. That’s when he and his brother Sam (Keivonn Woodard) hold Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and Joel (Pedro Pascal) at gunpoint. Other than that brief glimpse, Henry remains a mystery.

SEE ALSO:

‘The Last of Us’ episode 5 is releasing early. Here’s why and how to watch it.

Even when discussing Henry in HBO’s The Last of Us podcast, the show’s co-creator Craig Mazin remained intentionally vague:

“There’s somebody out there named Henry. We don’t know who he is. We know that [Kathleen and her Hunters] are looking for him, we know that Henry has a brother named Sam. We don’t know why they’re important, we just know that Kathleen is ready to throw the entire revolutionary army out there to find them and bring them to some sort of justice.”

While we may not have explicit information about who Henry is, the episode does throw us a few clues as to why Henry is so important to Kathleen. In her first scene, in which she interrogates the doctor who delivered her, Kathleen wonders whether she’s standing in the same cell where her brother was beaten to death. Later, she mentions looking for FEDRA collaborators, likely Quarantine Zone residents who passed FEDRA information about revolutionary activity.

From this, it’s highly likely that Henry was a FEDRA collaborator, who played a part in the capture and killing of Kathleen’s brother. His motives are as of yet unclear. But given how Kathleen says Henry “won’t let Sam starve,” there’s a chance his actions were meant to protect his own brother.

All these possibilities mark serious deviations from the Henry of The Last of Us game.

In the game, Henry and Sam are survivors from Hartford traveling through Pittsburgh. They meet Ellie and Joel while on the run from Hunters, who are looking to kill them and take their supplies. The four team up and try to make it out of the city alive.

Meanwhile, the show sets up Henry and Sam as longtime residents of the Kansas City QZ. Plus, they have a personal connection to Kathleen (herself a show-only character). Seeing as Henry, Sam, and Kathleen appear to be sticking around for at least another episode, we can trust that episode 5 will clarify Kathleen’s vendetta against Henry.

Based on her deep-seated hatred towards him, you can bet that their confrontation will be explosive — and likely cause emotional damage.

Episode 5 of The Last of Us airs Friday, Feb. 10 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and HBO Max. Following episodes will air Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and HBO Max.

Screenshots appear to show Microsoft’s new ChatGPT-powered Bing interface

A screenshot of the Microsoft Bing interface. A photo of a mountain range at dusk, bathed in purples and pinks, sits behind a white box with the prompt

Remember Bing, Microsoft’s (barely used) search engine? It looks like it may be getting a much-needed makeover. The Verge reports that earlier this week, a “new Bing” interface using AI chatbot ChatGPT appeared and then swiftly vanished. It was previously reported that Microsoft was interested in capitalizing on the tool’s massive popularity and impressive intelligence, and it’s possible that what users saw is an early version of that experience that went live by mistake.

SEE ALSO:

Google might announce a ChatGPT competitor next week

One of those users, Owen Yin, posted about his brief experience with the “new Bing” on Medium. He noted that the engine’s search bar was replaced by a large text box inviting you to “ask it anything” in 1000 characters or less, but that the traditional search bar option was also still available. You could also conduct full conversations with the AI as a chatbot.

ChatGPT’s expansive abilities make it possible for the “new Bing” to get creative, too. Yin notes that Bing will be able to make meal plans or navigate budget restrictions in a travel itinerary. It can also write a poem or lyrics. Unlike the current Chat-GPT, which collected data up to 2021, the Bing version will be able to access current information.

Just make sure to always check its work once it’s live. A disclaimer reads, “Bing is powered by AI, so surprises and mistakes are possible. Make sure to check the facts, and share feedback so we can learn and improve.”

It’s rumored that Microsoft plans to officially unveil the new and improved Bing in the coming weeks. Microsoft did not immediately respond to Mashable’s request for comment.

Michael Che asks lactose-intolerant rappers Milly Pounds and Shirty to explain the British Monarchy on Weekend Update

Embedded video

With King Charles III’s coronation right around the corner, SNL thought it best to seek the expertise of real Brits. When British rappers Milly Pounds and Shirty (James Austin Johnson and Devon Walker) slide onto the Weekend Update set, they immediately refocus the conversation on the real enemy: the “exploitative British press.” It’s pants, mate!

Bowen Yang is a delightfully cantankerous Chinese spy balloon in SNL’s cold open

Embedded cold open video,

Bowen Yang has practically made a career out of playing objects and insects (the iceberg that sank the Titanic, the spotted lantern fly) and this week he returned to the SNL stage as a particularly infamous inflatable. Last night’s cold open poked fun at the hullabaloo over the Chinese spy balloon shot down earlier this week by the Biden administration. Yang appears as the balloon, groaning about everything from his reported size (around three busses big) to being “Joe’s Osama.” It turns out that, like all of us, the balloon just wants to be understood (and watch Yellowstone).

Chloe Fineman reports on the saga as MSNBC’s host Katy Tur, interviewing a straight-laced Pentagon official played by SNL vet Kenan Thompson. This week’s host, Pedro Pascal, was noticeably absent, but appeared in a number of excellent sketches, including one that imagines HBO’s dystopian take on the Mari Kart franchise.

‘SNL’ Lisa from Temecula sketch absolutely breaks Pedro Pascal

Ego Nwodim in a pink dress and glasses

What makes Saturday Night Live’s Lisa from Temecula sketch so funny, isn’t the material itself. It’s that everyone in the sketch from Nwodim to host Pedro Pascal can’t hold character the entire time.

SEE ALSO:

HBO turns ‘Mario Kart’ into gritty psych drama in ‘SNL’ sketch

The sheer, utterly amazing performance Ego Nwodim puts into this sketch is so good, there are no survivors. The sketch starts innocently enough with a celebration of a friend’s birthday party (Punkie Johnson). However, things go bad fast as Nwodim tries to cut into her extra, extra well-done steak. It’s a tough cut of meat and as Nwodim tries to cut herself a bite, hilarity ensues. It’s hard to describe the following events but everyone breaks character, with the best break being Bowen Yang who cracks after Nwodim claims they’re getting complaints cause “they’re Black.”
