Young superfan, who ain’t afraid of no ghosts, gets to play Ghostbuster for a day

When there’s something strange in your neighborhood, there’s someone new we can call if it don’t look good.

Braeden Rios, an 8-year-old from Iowa, got to live the ultimate Ghostbusters-fan dream by starring in his own Ghostbusters mini-movie.

The whole act was put together by The For The Win Project, a nonprofit that helps kids reach their dreams of becoming their favorite superheroes. Rios has a condition known as bronchomalacia, but that didn’t stop him from kicking butt in his movie.

In the spirit of Batkid, the Project brought the superfan out to Hollywood so they could make a short movie, complete with special effects and real props starring Braeden himself. Read more…
