The U.S. women’s national soccer team continues to dominate at the World Cup, only adding to England’s annoyance at their lack of “etiquette.”
American star Alex Morgan celebrated her goal against the British team during the World Cup semifinals on Tuesday with something more spiteful than a middle finger: She mimed sipping tea, pinky up and everything.
It’s an especially victorious jab leading up to the Fourth of July, considering the Continental Congress voted for independence from the British on this day 243 years ago.
