If there’s one single thing you’re definitely going to get at British summer festivals is a whole lot of rain & mud.

But apparently that’s the one thing organisers of Y Not festival in Derbyshire failed to take into consideration.
The festival was called off over safety concerns following heavy rain and after many acts — including headliners The Vaccines — had already been forced to cancel due to dangerous conditions.
With a statement on the festival website, organisers said they had to take “the difficult decision” due to adverse weather conditions over the weekend. Read more…
