Kamala Khan, welcome to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
At D23 Friday, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige shared that a live-action Ms. Marvel series will be coming to Disney+. “And then you will see her in our films,” he added.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Bisha K. Ali (Four Weddings and a Funeral) will serve as writer and showrunner.
Though the Ms. Marvel moniker has been used by various characters over the years — originating with Carol Danvers in 1977, back in the days before she was Captain Marvel — the new series will focus on the most recent Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan.
