Moms always go overboard for their kids’ birthday parties, especially for the first birthday.
So, when Jen from New Jersey was planning the greatest first birthday party for her son, she pulled out all the stops, including baking cookies shaped like “1”‘s, a family tradition.
Jen told BuzzFeed that because she was super busy with her husband and daughter’s birthdays, she had to make the cookies a whole month in advance and freeze them for the party. She used the “1” from an old set of cookie cutters and spent eight hours making a total of 189 cookies as party favors.
