With general election polling underway, why not take a moment to look back at the main party leaders when they were beautiful blossoms ready to flower.
Some of them were activists, speaking up for workers’ rights (Jeremy Corbyn) or against the war in Iraq (Caroline Lucas). Some were fronting a post-punk, new-wave band “written off as a fourth rate New Order” (Tim Farron).
