John McCain is the Severus Snape of Washington now, apparently

Republican Sen. John McCain is being compared to a Harry Potter character following his shocking vote against the “skinny repeal,” a watered-down version of a failed GOP bill meant to take down Obamacare.

McCain, who recently announced he has brain cancer, had given little indication he’d vote no alongside just two other Republicans, Sens. Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski early Friday morning. (By the way those other senators were fearlessly battling the bill long before McCain made his shocking turn.)

Huh. Kind of sounds familiar. Who else in our history has looked like a bad guy, but kind of ended up helping everyone out?
