Jason Momoa apologises for Comic-Con rape joke

Jason Momoa has apologised for a rape joke made at a Comic-Con panel back in 2011, detailed in a video that has surfaced online recently.

The Game of Thrones star, who plays Khal Drogo in the series, commented on the things that he’s able to get away with in the science fiction and fantasy genres.

“I love that genre, there’s so many things you can do, like rip someone’s tongue out of their throat and get away with it and rape beautiful women,” Momoa said. 

While the crowd laughed, cast members were visibly embarrassed following the comment. Read more…
