Another day, another scorching tweet from Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling.
This time Rowling took on the all-too-familiar scene of a man degrading a woman whose politics or beliefs he doesn’t like.

The unnamed fellow, who Rowling sarcastically refers to as “Mr Liberal Cool Guy,” made the mistake of calling UK Prime Minister Theresa May a “whore.”

That was enough for Rowling to unfollow the culprit, and spend 14 withering tweets explaining why, “If you can’t disagree with a woman without reaching for all those filthy old insults,” you’ve failed at upholding liberal values. Read more…
