In infuriating news of the day, Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to ban transgender service members to openly serve in the military, reversing the Pentagon’s previous repeal in 2016.
Many people have reacted strongly to the Wednesday morning tweets, condemning Trump’s ban of transgender individuals from serving the country—including Star Trek actor and LGBTQ rights activist George Takei, who had some scathing words for the president.
