Apple iPhone 8 concept shows what a transparent smartphone would really look like

The next iPhone will mark the 10 year anniversary of the device’s debut, and the rumors about what it’ll look like are crazier and more outlandish with every passing week. One of the wildest ones — that the iPhone 8 will be transparent – has been realized in this brilliant concept video from a very talented artist. 

But unlike previous transparent iPhone 8 concept renderings, this one looks far more realistic due to the fact that it’s not truly transparent — you can actually see the inner components of the device. From the processor chip (an A11), to the Taptic Engine, to the battery, Germany-based Curved Labs gave the device a look reminiscent of the iMAC DV Special Edition, which was released back in the year 2000.  Read more…
