Somehow another year has passed, and now, the iPhone is a teenager. In the iPhone 13, you’ll find longer battery life, a brand-new cinematic filming mode, and (thanks to Black Friday), some serious savings.

How to shop Black Friday iPhone sales
The best bet to get the biggest possible savings on iPhones is to buy direct from carriers. This is no different than Black Friday seasons of years past. What is different, however, is the general availability of iPhones. Due to supply chain shortages, tech of all sorts is expected to be much harder to come by this year. What that means is that if you see your carrier is running a deal on an iPhone, take it.
Verizon already lists the iPhone 13 Pro Max as being on backorder until mid-December, while the more budget-friendly iPhone SE is completely sold out at AT&T at the time of writing. In other words, you shouldn’t be expecting a guaranteed deal on the new or older iPhones a week before Christmas, as there’s a decent chance they’ll be backordered or out of stock.
If you want to buy straight from the Apple Store, we have seen some trade-in savings or gift card incentives in the past, though nothing’s cropped up this year yet. So far, they’re only offering their own special carrier deals for Verizon, T-Mobile/Sprint, and AT&T customers. We’ve made sure to note the specifics of each below.
